At Gowri SIgnatures, your satisfaction is our priority. We take immense pride in our handcrafted products, understanding that the unique irregularities inherent in handloom weaving are a natural part of their charm and authenticity. While these nuances celebrate the uniqueness of each piece, we are committed to assisting you should you receive a damaged or defective product.

Our return policy is designed to be as clear and hassle-free as possible, ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Return Eligibility & Conditions

To ensure a smooth return process:

  • Timely Request: All return requests for damaged or defective products must be raised within 2 days of receiving your order. Returns are exclusively accepted for items found to be damaged or defective upon delivery.
  • Original Condition: Products must be returned in their original, unused, and saleable condition, with all tags, packaging, original folds, and price labels perfectly intact.
  • Return Window: Please ensure the product is returned to us within 7 working days of its receipt.
Initiating a Return

To begin a return for products purchased on our website:

  • Please attach a clear picture of the defective or damaged product.
2. Await Approval & Ship:
  • Only ship the product after your return request has been approved.
  • If approved, send the product to: Plot no 472, Road No. 36, opp. Metro Pillar no C1644, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana 500033
  • Ensure your name, order number, and mobile number are clearly written on the package, and include the original invoice or receipt.
  • For your convenience, please use a courier service designated by our company. Contact Customer Care for assistance with this.
International Returns

For international purchases, we will provide specific guidance on the return process. Please do not ship the product back to us directly, as this may incur customs duties. We will guide you through the appropriate steps to ensure a smooth return. 

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation:

  • Tailoring Services: Products for which tailoring services have been availed are considered final sale.
  • Customer Misuse: Any damage resulting from improper product care or misuse will not qualify for returns. We advise careful handling of your Gowri signature pieces.
  • Clearance Sale Items: All sales are final on clearance items; these are non-returnable.
Inspection & Resolution

Upon receiving your returned product, our dedicated quality inspection team will thoroughly assess the item.

  • Approval/Rejection: We reserve the sole discretion to approve or deny returns based on the product's condition and adherence to our policy guidelines.
  • Approved Returns: If your return is approved, you will be offered one of the following:
  • A credit note/voucher redeemable for a future purchase on the Gowri signature website.
  • An exchange for another product of equal or lesser value.
Return Shipping Charges

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the product. However, if the error lies with Gowri (e.g., damaged/defective product), we will refund the shipping charges to you as a credit note/voucher.

Damaged or Faulty Product Upon Delivery

If your package appears tampered with, damaged, or unsealed upon delivery, we strongly advise you to refuse acceptance. Immediately contact Gowri via:

After a thorough inspection where we determine the damage was not due to any actions on your part, we will, at our sole discretion, provide either:

  • The issuance of a credit note.
  • An exchange or replacement of the product.
Product Specifics & Variations

Please note that details regarding product weight, color, handwork, and size mentioned on our site are approximate values. Therefore, return or exchange requests based solely on these attributes will not be approved.

  • Handwork & Embellishments: Items featuring delicate handwork, beaded embroidery, or sequins are prone to occasional detachment of embellishments, even with careful handling. Please consider this when ordering.
  • Creative Interpretations: Product descriptions reflect the artistic interpretation of our handloom weavers and content writers. Differences based solely on perceived variations in descriptions are not grounds for return.
  • Color Variations: While we strive for accuracy, minor color variations can occur due to monitor resolutions, video cards, operating systems, and lighting conditions. A 10% variation in shade is considered normal and will not be a basis for return or exchange.
Order Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel an order before or after processing, a 3% cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Please note that cancellation requests will not be processed if the order has already been approved for shipment.
Refunds Procedure

Gowri Signatures reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the form of refund offered (credit note or exchange). We aim to complete refund processing within 7 working days from the receipt of the returned product. For any refund-related inquiries, please reach us at hello@gowrisigantures.com.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding cancellations, refunds, or returns, customers can contact Gowri via hello@gowrisignatures.com. Please note that Gowri's Decision will be final and binding.
